2025-09-08 19:32:19 +0000 UTCThis movie is perfect. I cried a lot when I first watched and it hits me every time I watch it. It is a very underated movie and I was surprised by this not getting more buzz. The whole journey of Joe and 22 re-discovering life is so good and so emotional. Love the hip dude haha It feels like a movie for adults that you can watch with your family and kids. Maybe that is why it did not have so many people watching at the time, as it is more target to an older audience than usually kids. Which is interesting since the newer movies from Pixar seem to be aiming more for a young audience, with simpler and more child-like stories, and those are not being perceived as that good anymore (and are not getting a lot of audience either).
