He Made It Home

It was at a TCAF many many years ago- I'd been out partying hard (there was a lot of soju involved) until like 3am the night before and somehow staggered back to my hotel and passed out. I woke up at 1pm when Jeffrey from Topatoco texted me like "uh hey dude are you coming to the table or what." I threw on some clothes and ran over to the convention, and got behind my table to start signing stuff for the line of people who had been patiently waiting for me.
It was only then that I realized I was still drunk. And as the afternoon wore on, the booze wore off, and the hangover slowly descended like the world's most horrible blanket. All while I had to maintain the semblance of functionality to the very nice fans who came to say hi and buy stuff.
I do not miss alcohol.
