She has been known to hug given the right circumstances (like when Tilly was going up to Station to be Hanners' father's assistant). She could treat it as an opportunity to expand her comfort zone. (Admittedly, she does not have the same bond with Willow that she had with Tilly.)

Normally it flows back into your body, but when crying, it gets overwhelmed. This helped be to understand crying better.
