Finger Guns

Yay should not be allowed to do finger guns

Finger Guns

Comments

I am very glad that Elliot is well-acquainted with Yay's manner of speaking/being at this exact moment, because otherwise it would be disastrous.

Mikey Bear

This is just delightful 😌

Kristina

Renee should charge Yay a fee for how bad that was at least.

Steve H

I’m somewhat expecting next week to start with Yay complaining to Rocko, “…and then she physically threw us out of the bakery and left a footprint on our backside!”

That Blair Guy

Oh god I just spent two hours rereading from then to now. Thanks, I think?

M Cohen

That was a pretty awesome segment.

Moonthief

No riddle to test resolve, no middle it’s best dissolved. What gets sorted out last of all gets solved. It gets solved.

Daryl Sawyer

love the attempt, Yay. Having been in Elliot's position, it will likely not change much. But appreciable attempt. (on another note, some have recorded your glorious exit from twitter, Jeph. Beautiful. 5 stars, standing ovation.)

Grumpy Bird

Smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth.

Ruth Merriam

Au contraire, Yay has never taken "brain deep dive[s]" lightly. https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3923

Not physically. https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3392

Yay is very probably in for a well deserved tongue lashing, at the very least. But, of course, we won't know because... Cliff Hang er.

*they

Nicolas Demers

I thought some of the previous strips were especially on-point, given that Jeph has taken up Elon-sniping as a hobby. https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=4038

Sleepy John

If they cannot see that Yay has provided the perfect solution to Elliot's problem, then that is certainly not Yay's fault. She's not ineffectual, she's under-appreciated.

Sleepy John

See Renée's expression? Our multiply-embodied friend is in trouble?

Ursus Ridens

*they But also Yay's had a lot of revelations about the limits of their powers, how they should be used, etc... Honestly this almost feels like a regression after all their lovely character growth -- like their swanning in to help out Bubbles. But we'll see how this pans out

Nicolas Demers

I've noticed several comments about how Yay got their name; I thought it might be nice to link to the comic in question. Also Melon is, of course, delightful. https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=4042

Yeah, this set up for Yaay realising she’s inneffectual /and/ also can’t use her fallback of “F it; brain deep dive to force my way” is going to have a fun pay off.

Not even I have managed to be quite that clueless. I've certainly pulled off some socially cluenessness in my day, but not this. To be fair, I was accused of this very thing, but at least one of the individuals present was witness to my not actually doing this very thing.

Some Ed

Congrats on the Twitter ban, Jeph. Elon just couldn't handle the fun.

I facepalmed the second I saw the first panel.

TV4Fun

Yay should *definitely* be allowed to do finger guns. They have the moves.
