Given that Marten didn't know why the toaster has a USB port, the toaster is clearly being powered some other way, presumably by being plugged into the wall, which means that it's not being powered by Pintsize. Either it's charging him, or he's just giving it commands.

I don't think even USB C Power Delivery can supply enough power for a toaster and I suspect could only manage a trickle charge on an AI (it tops out at 20V @ 5A, so 100W theoretical maximum). Although it's entirely plausible that USB has advanced considerably in QC universe...but then I'd be worrying about the current carrying capacity of the cable shown.
