Even though Yay is trying to be more respectful of other people's boundaries, I don't see this strip being problematic in that regard. I mean, Aurelia *DID* invite Yay to come back anytime. This would *TOTALLY* be on-point for Old Yay, without the invitation. And as for hippy Marten.... if Claire's going for full "Anything Clinton can do, I can do better" then depending on how much time passed since they got started, it's entirely possible that he's thoroughly stoned from the second-hand smoke alone. Even if he didn't partake as well.

Honestly, although you are the writer, I slightly disagree that it's out of character for yay. Because we know yay cares about Aurelia. So I assume she has a subconscious thread running making sure the security precautions put in place work. And then when the stream turned on without Claire's mom being aware yay might go huh. Possible virus. I should check that out. Yay would probably alert Claire's mom but that doesn't mean marten would be aware yay was coming.
