Based on my limited understanding of vtubers, it should be easy enough to explain the general concept without any warnings: "I make videos for people to watch on the internet, but it's my voice with a cartoon character rather than actual video of me." Having said that, it would make sense to give a general warning before actually showing them the video.

We have seen Marten using a computer in exactly how many strips? We've seen a number of other characters using computers, but I had the distinct impression the only computer Marten "has" is Pintsize, and he's only particularly used Pintsize after some particularly egregious incident. Ok, I think we have seen Marten behind the desk at the library, and there may have been something computery there. But I feel like Marten's sufficiently concerned about losing his job to not be too completely wild on his employer's computer. He may have also been behind the register at Coffee of Doom. A lot of places these days have computers for cash registers, but I had the impression that Coffee of Doom has an actual cash register for a cash register.
