I think it's the perception of humanity. In his former bodies he was basically an imp and acted the part. A human couldn't get away with half the stuff he did. Which is an interesting thing to explore - he is cognitively the same AI he always was, but his perception of self and other are directly impacted by being more or less humanoid in appearance. There is no inherent reason that his inappropriate and bizarre behavior is less or more tolerated because of the form factor of his chassis, and yet here we are.

I'm trans femme so I definitely cannot say, but I imagine this might be somewhat similar to something trans mascs experience? Like, girls and women, especially when familiar, will say things to one another that, from a man or masculine figure, is outright threatening, and so I imagine that trans mascs might find themselves in this situation, where they are so accustomed to making a comment, but are suddenly very aware that such a comment has an entirely different vibe coming from them now.
