It's not necessarily that incompatible. We don't know exactly how much time passed, and it could just be that they just got the first check that the bank freaked out about around the time of 4313. I could even see an argument that the reason they had to sell the movie rather than using their personal funds because their bank account was still frozen as the bank investigated the source of their sudden new wealth. Alternatively, maybe they started doing their streaming that day as another approach to funding May's new body than selling the movie. It's possible that the old aprons *did* have pockets, it's just the resolution on the old pics is so bad we can't see them. I mean, that's *Faye* in that episode. You talk about the pockets like it's a major plot point, when there's a character that has changed so much in the interim that I needed to go back to 6 to figure out who one of the characters in it was.

If you want more fun continuity issues, Faye's apron (and presumably the others) in the first panel here https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=10, has no pockets yet the one here does. Definitely looks better with pockets though

I dunno. I find myself wondering... With most of the longer-term characters settling down I wonder if all this money perhaps means Jeph might be moving into some kind of QC endgame? The obvious outlet for Marigold's money is Roko's organisation to improve AI rights. I wonder if we have a long background thread on that for a while and that ends up wrapping up the whole thing.
