See, now I just can't wait til Clinton tries that move out on Elliot. I can see it all: No dialogue. Clinton just moves in, snuggles up, and drapes Elliot's arms around himself. Brief pause, then both of them visibly relax with deep sighs. End scene. Seriously, if Jeph doesn't actually do that in-story Id be willing to commission the page. <3

Huge no-longer-scary robot lady no longer needs hug. Also, works well simultaneously as a display of affection that leaves no doubt as to their relationship, as a modest display where they don’t feel like they are showing off, and as part of a comics panel (e.g. we see both their faces). Which is why it was used for Hanners for instance.
