I would love to have a friend like Bubbles.

W H Sparkman

Applying for librarian jobs?

Natalie Wagner

I only wish her name were Abby Anderson...

Natalie Wagner

I wonder why Claire stopped wearing her nose ring. Don’t those piercings heal shut if you leave them out too long?

Christopher Wolfe

So... Yay is the AI equivalent of Q?

Churchill (formerly TeaBear)

“This sit-up contest is to the death.” - T’Pau “Are dee Human, or are dee AI?” “We are an immensely intelligent multiply bodied...” “KRAI-KA! ...... Vee voor not talking vit dee.” "Say! Is that an original Ahn-woon? Boy, you don't see workmanship like THAT anymore. Oh, and your network encryption sucks, but I suppose it's the best you can do. Well, ta!" ---from "Yay Annoys the Vulcans" Next week, on "Yay Annoys the Universe", They discuss dog treats with the Monolith from 2001.

Matt Grayson

Spookybot going "Ms. Anderson".

Atashkada

The skinny kind of 14 year old gets abs. Like, if you're a bit underweight with decent core strength, they're usually visible. At least in my experience of being an underweight teen. I wasn't muscular in the slightest, but I technically had abs.

Solomon Garland

consistent theme of QC- appearances and labeling are deceptive, look beneath the surface

jimbo

yay

All in favor of an "Amy Anderson sit-up challenge with Bubbles" bonus comic?

Ralf Paul

So Faye doesn't yet feel ... queerlified?

Claire is... so short...

I've always been some degree of pan but never had an occasion to declare as such until I told my spouse I wasn't threatened by Bayonetta like other women type (something spouse mentioned in passing to bros) bc I was mildly bisexual. Only recently am I just straight up admitting pansexuality, though some of it is I like watching others enjoy the beauty of creating life... or going through the motions thereof =)

Minzoku Bokumetsu

Identity can be such a convoluted thing, and discovering your own is a process. One which never ends, for some people. I really appreciate the care and respect and nuance that Jeph brings to these story arcs.

Absynthe

I mean, everyone is, right?

Absynthe

As a gay man who discovered that aspect of himself late in life, I can sympathize. Looking back now, I can see that I always was attracted to men. However, I was in my mid-20s before I started getting an inkling of that attraction, I was in my mid-30s before I was able to admit it to myself, and in my mid-40s before I actually acted on it. Even today, in my mid-60s, I sometimes struggle a bit with my identity as a gay man.

Search and destroy Bubbles, search and destroy!!!

Ab sense

Dev

I bet amy anderson is taller than bubbles

Bagge

Except for a few memory gaps in my past I don’t think I was ever attracted to another man either - well except for George Clooney...

Michael Keogh

She’d need to recharge, eventually.

Matt Grayson

I agree but they can also be quite useful at times

Michael

...Can Bubbles even GET winded? Would a sit-up contest even be fair?

Daniel S

Oh wow, this hits hard. Great stuff

Timeloopy

As a pan male who's only been in het relationships I know that struggle with not knowing if you fit in the community

at0m

Faye is totally embodying the (or at least my) bi woman experience right now. The belated realization, the hesitancy to claim a space in the community, the "Oh yeah...." moments when looking back at her life... I feel so seen. :')

Lyzz

I think that people get far, far too hung up on labels.

Ralph Little

It took me several years AFTER I came out before I felt comfortable calling myself bi, as well. It's a process!

Grace Kieser

As someone still struggling to “feel qualified to call myself queer”, this made me tear up a little

Well specifically, queer. Which covers a pretty broad spectrum. Bubbles, insofar as she has no memory of anything in the gap in her memory. Significantly nothing before that gap either. This will be a very interesting discussion here. Hopefully we'll see more next week as well.

Michael Boettger

So.... Abs-ence does not make the heart grow fonder?

Jon

RIP all real life Amy Andersons, especially if that Amy has a six pack of abs by age 14.

Miyaa

A literal pan-acea of options.

doorbender

Why does everyone go straight to gay, there is a bi option you know.

Michael
