I suspect it is intentionally at least somewhat open to interpretation, but one way to look at it is definitely "fuck you mark zuckerberg, because facebook has let us become philisophical zombies". It would have been unthinkable to read the news today and go "huh." and move on to the next news item like nothing is wrong.

Perhaps I'm very naiive, but I don't get it. Maybe I'm overthinking. Is the point of this strip merely that Greg is a bot? (i.e. an automated account that posts synthesized updates without any human intervention) Or is there some kind of deeper political point that Jeph is making? I get the feeling that there's some subtle political point because the title and caption refer to tech billionaires, but I'm not sure exactly what point the comic itself is trying to convey...
