Melon Vs. The Volcano 2: Volcano Revenge

this might be my favorite bonus comic I've done for y'all so far

Melon Vs. The Volcano 2: Volcano Revenge

Comments

Panel 2: Cutest. Expression. Ever.

Andrew Diseker

Technically, you don't actually see the liquid go into the "volcano". It could just be hitting behind it. But if it did go into the volcano and mix with something else, I would imagine that Nitroglycerin could be coaxed into making a chemical reaction that is sufficiently energetic.....

Brad Knowles

She triggered using a pourable liquid and I can't think of a thermite mix that would trigger that way. That said, we're arguing over a comic strip so reality may not overlap.

Jim Feldman

Table first, then floor. If that's actually a kitchen counter, there's probably something underneath (either cabinet storage or dishwasher), so it had to melt through that, too.

Jeffrey Nonken

Oh wow I just realized that she made a hole in the floor!

Sue N

Socially appropriate holiday greetings to you also, and everyone else!

Some Ed

Not to be confused with Bacon Soda.

Summer Sudbrink

i can say for damn sure that a shockingly small quantity of thermite will definitely blow a big ol hole in the side of a fridge. whether or not one is INTENDING to do that thing...

Satan

I was thinking Thermite. Potassium permanganate would start a fire, but I don't know if it would be volatile enough to produce the reactions seen here - particularly melting a hole in the floor.

awgiedawgie

Well, true, thermite will also clear sinuses.

BobC

That ain't vinegar and baking soda, that's more like KMnO4 and glycerin

Jim Feldman

Socially appropriate holiday greetings, everyone!

Populuxe

I totes could feel the comic in MY sinuses

Minzoku Bokumetsu

Kinda what my sinuses feel like when the decongestant finally starts working.

BobC

It's mag-ma-nificent!

Hugh Eckert

that's awesome!

Bagge

I just noticed the cute "Bakin' Soda" label.

Hugh Eckert

On the plus side, a hole in her ceiling is the last thing Roko needs to worry about at the moment.

Dean Reilly

Just as I suspected!!! :)

Michael Voorhis

This comic was released months ago.

I guess this means Roko's OK (but it seems likely that the timeline is suspended for a bonus-comic)

Michael Voorhis

Real lava! Now I’m jealous.

Holly Nelson

Melon - "and a little thermite for the finish!"

Chong Go

Still love Melon. XD
