How do you know that the robot killed a cow " accidentally"? It's possible that the robot's *job* is killing cows, and being covered in blood and guts is a daily occurrence. She just bumped into a cow in a weird way while working, and dislocated a finger. Hence how casual she is about needing to be hosed off.

I feel bad for the cow. Hitting a dear usually damages a car badly. Cows are bigger than deer. Robots are smaller than cars. What is this robot made of anyway? Why does this robot have so little affect about killing an animal accidentally?

I kind of thought she wasn't looking where she was running.

For the old Jeph, I would have taken the gag as-written. But for the new Jeph, I would suspect there's some thought going on in the background about dangerous robots, cattle slaughter (cows aren't cheap!), an angry farmer, and Roko's former associates like O'Malley lurking around.
