I'm wondering if Jeph is creating a sort of 'fairy tale' scenario where she passes, can't find a library job and then stumbles backwards onto something that makes her completely change her life goals.

I start to believe Claire will have a burnout and don't present to her exam. Or than she will fail. Weirdly, it's a scenario who make more sense and interest for me than "despise all the stress and incertitude about the exam, She rock-it". Also, the story start being out of drama since a long time.
