ASDF? Not familiar with that one. Can you give me a hint, other than the fact it's the first four letters on the home row of a QWERTY keyboard?

Agreed. I like it so much I have a world of warcraft character with that name. Although I spelled douche as "doosh" to be different.

My two cents (well, two öre, I'm Swedish) are that this is just some sibling sniping. My brother and I do it all the time; we're not hurt by it because we know it's not meant completely seriously.

(sorry this is rather long, I didn't want it to seem like I'm just hating or something so I had to make sure my points were clear and concise.)
So I don't know if many people will feel similarly to me on this but does anyone else feel like Claire has been somewhat unreasonable in certain ways in the last few strips? Like when she goes into the The Secret Bakery she comes off as being in a good mood and seems to enjoy Brun's company but when Clinton comes in like normal and simply asks her what brought her into the bakery while saying hello to Brun she basically calls him a distraction and acts as if he doesn't belong even though he's a regular and comes in all the time (after all she didn't get frustrated with Brun making conversation or tell her she was being distracting, only when Clinton joined the conversation).
Like I'm not trying to say Clinton didn't do anything wrong either because he did, I mean he was bragging about being prepared for his exams while Claire was struggling which can be hurtful no doubt and was for sure a bad move, that being said Claire responding with cutting sarcasm instead of trying to explain clearly how his words made her feel, she forgot about that whole "talking about stuff" thing she said she learned from Pintsize which caused the situation to only get worse.
I mean Clinton was being inconsiderate not malicious or anything, he definitely made a mistake but he wasn't trying to purposefully hurt his sister emotionally, if Claire would've clearly stated how she felt I believe Clinton would've apologized immediately for being so uncaring towards her situation, and hell when he realized he was bragging he immediately tried to backpeddle and show empathy for her situation by saying he'd probably freak out too if he was in her shoes which is met with an insult, I mean being inconsiderate is one thing but Claire was clearly trying to take her frustration out on Clinton in a very unhealthy way.
In the end I say they were both hurtful to the other but only Claire tried to be hurtful on purpose, she was the one acting as if her brother being there and going about his normal routine was disturbing the environment, she was the one who came into the space where he and his friends chill together to relax and relieve stress by hanging out, she was the one who threw the environment off balance from its norm.
I guess it's just that while Clinton can be socially inept, inconsiderate, and even hurtful at times Claire was straight up being mean to her brother in his space around his friends where he usually goes to let go of tension not have it build up on him from drama, it just seems really uncool for her to be so disrespectful to his space just in general but also to respond to an honest mistake he made with agitation, sarcasm, and insults, but that's just my two cents, I'd live to hear what other people think honestly as I really like Claire's character and I think the flaws she exhibiting are really compelling and cool.

To Claire's credit, she DID try to de-escalate. It's just that Clinton had to start boasting and then reminding Claire why she's stressed. Because he's a helpful little brother and that's what they're meant to do, apparently.

I find myself thinking that Brun is watching this closely and taking notes: "This is how people normally interact on a social level," she's thinking. Nothing good can come of following such an example! XD
I'm also wondering if Jeph is going to play with our brains a little by having Brun try to teach Clinton socially-appropriate behaviour.

Has Clinton gotten his games mixed up with his schoolwork, or can we infer that Dungeon Crawl is an essential component of AI sentience matrices? (I’m leaning toward the latter)

... Of course I immediately thought of the Oglaf cockbats strip.
Also immediately recognized a Pintsize-brand insult. ♥

Yeah, yeah. Clinton isn't helping. But that was Claire who opened that particular line of discussion. Just let him go and flirt awkwardly in peace, Claire.

Note to self: Use "dickbat" more while speaking to peers. It's a very empowering word. Also, if someone doesn't name their band, "Dickbat and the Dickcrickets" soon, there is no righteousness in the universe.

Ah, that oldest sibling glare. Something that I couldn’t master against my younger siblings. Still can’t as an supposed adult. Also, does Clinton learn about specific AI swears like asdf?

Normally, I would say that teaching new swears is not a good thing, but in this case, it's fitting.

I've never thought about it but I'm a little surprised Clinton doesn't have freckles like Claire, my non ginger sisters both have freckles and it's common among the ging.
