Judging from the lines that make up Bubbles' shoulder and Faye's mouth, I'd say it was a mistake. It looks like the bottom half of Faye's mouth should have been erased, but wasn't, so the area in between the two lines didn't get coloured. Then again, she could really be nibbling...

Might not be zoned for that. Plus, I doubt they'll get kicked out of the apartment just yet. I mean, it's the first month of a new business, their friends will understand. Their business model should be sound enough, they do good work and lots more AI are walking around these days. Up until now a lot of chassis have been fairly new and probably under some sort of warranty, but not every AI is going to have the means (e.g. May) or desire (e.g. Roko) to just swap into a new body instead of maintaining the old. It'll be a growing market.
