Now I have this suspicion that they met when Roko had to come upstairs because of another one of Melon's "projects". I don't think she knows the meaning of "inappropriate", so I doubt she would ever say it. Someone (probably Roko) likely told her long ago that she needed to use a socially appropriate greeting, and she took it literally.
