Been thinking. Roku's blather about bad cops, good cops, and, that all-purpose tool of sloppy thinkers, "the system" struck me as blather. However, I think the sight of the perfectly inoffensive and good dark-skinned guy quietly hiding because a cop might get mad could possibly sicken me beyond endurance were I in her position. He was so matter-of-fact.

I believe that this is the first hint we have had that pre-jail May was not a nice person at all. Indeed, by indicating just what she wanted to do with her fighter jet, I suspect that she had some pretty serious issues with empathy and understanding consequences. Like she suggests, she's actually a better person now!
