In The UK They Call It Automaton Gaol

I also had to look it up, but then I am almost 70.

I was too, but I looked up his twitter page, and saw posts there, so I knew at least that he was alive and connected to the world. It didn't explain the absence of posts here, but it did put my mind at ease.

awgiedawgie

As am I. Lets hope it's nothing serious. :(

It's now Sunday evening... I'm starting to worry about my favorite artist

Andy Sleeper

Handmaid May, just without the hand part?

Leak

Nice catch! Likely because of the “recycle” factor. 😊

Okay, there's a word I had to look up on the Googles. Jeez, I'm SO old...

Kevin Hicks

Fair point, I got fixated on the idea of ice cream covering scalding hot chocolate. Maybe it could be ultra sour icecream? There, that’s a negative!

Andrew

Hmm... that could backfire, since "tsun" is the negative half of the word.

awgiedawgie

She would take almost any job before she'd be a maid. She hated that outfit.

awgiedawgie

They've been getting AI business for quite a while. When Bubbles first started coming in, Hanners implied that it was already a thing.

awgiedawgie

I guess the shop must be getting more AI business now if there's a special price on the board for them..

John Madigan

Your emphasis on "WAY TOO" seemed like that was the emphasis. I don't disagree that May's reaction was understandable.

I think he objected to the "stupid", not the "girlfriend".

Trigon Manthree

So? Some stuff is better to not even ask people about unless you know them well, because even asking very gently about it draws that person's attention something that might be really unpleasant for them. Though my point wasn't that Marigold was especially rude in the way she asked, but that May's reaction is still understandable all the same

Fart Captor

Asking "What's robot jail like?" was "way too" personal? It was about as vague a question as she could have asked.

I am now picturing a Tsunderoplane from Undertale, but with a May-esque color scheme.

TubaGinger

Yeah, but she immediately asked a WAY TOO personal question about that upon learning she'd been in jail, and she's not the only person that's done it. Even if that weren't a sensitive subject, the cumulative effect would understandably make each instance much more grating

Fart Captor

I'd love for her to end up as an autopilot on a Earth-to-Orbit shuttle or something and find that she actually kind of misses hanging out with Pintsize and Momo.

Ben Russell-Gough

Could a fighter jet be tsundere? Probably the wrong question, since if May could be a fighter jet she wouldn't be so cranky. Maybe as violent, though.

Douglas E. Smith

It was hardly pestering- Marigold asked her once, and let it drop when May made it clear that she wasn't interested in talking about it.

Dean Reilly

She's right.

Stoodmuffin

Some epithet that robots use to describe super clueless humans like Mar. Or possibly it was the start of "your goddamn nosy girlfriend" or maybe not.

Denise Webber

"You mean she actually thinks of me as an animé stereotype! Dear Turing! My life is over!!!" Given Dale's reaction, I doubt that May was going to call Marigold his 'girlfriend'. Does anyone want to guess what she was about to call her?

Ben Russell-Gough

Business idea: ice cream tsundaes.

Andrew

Wait until May finds a new job as a maid. May the maid.

Miyaa

I'd use that term for Faye. I still haven't warmed up to May.

Brent Catherman

Nice friending, Dale

Bagge

It would involve dildos. So many dildos.

Bagge

What would happen in a relationship between Pintsize and May? I find the concept terrifying myself...

I love this

Fart Captor

Tsuper tsundere

Mike de Jong

Ahem. That's "Her Majesty's Automaton Gaol" to you.

Rachel

There have been hints. Nothing overmuch, but she's shown that she does/can care.

Chuck Dee

Honestly... I wouldn't.

Chuck Dee

So far, all I've really seen is the tsun part, no dere yet

darklion

DATA: Inquiry–the word...tsundere? PICARD: (shoots self with phaser, series ends)

Magic Chopstick Games

May continues to be my favorite character <3

Damn it Dale, you should turn off your glasses for moments like this!

BobC

What would YOU look at if you have a set of always-on lenses that display stuff only visible to you?

Ting

What’s he really looking at?

VC

Dale!
