At first I was thinking, "Wait, did she go get her hair lengthened?" (Because of course there's no reason why a robot couldn't go do that), and I had to go surfing back in previous pages showing Bubbles - and then I realized it always looks shorter because she puts it in a ponytail, always

Gotta say though, even though I think Tai is the most emotionally competent person in the strip, if someone told me my feelings were valid, I would cast a very cold eye upon them indeed. Validity is correctness of form, cogency, or efficacy. None of these are properties that feelings can have. Further, feelings, as feelings, can't be good or bad. They are emotional events. What counts is how you act on them, and Bubbles has acted scrupulously, though with more prudence than courage, and with complete ruthless cruelty toward herself. But fuck it, I am a horrid reptilian precisian, and Tai is doing her best.

I think it's a nice touch the way that Bubbles is nervously playing with her hair. It's subtleties like this that give the character of Bubbles so much life and sympathy.
