Yeah, I’m that guy too. What can I say — dad was an engineer. Was annoyed with clumsy, glow in the dark ET while watching the movie, wondering how a creature with a body like a pudding and spidery fingered arms but short penguin feet every the hell became a technologically advanced spacegoing race. And bioluminescent! C'mon already. Finally arrived at a paleontological backstory that satisfied me, but it still makes me grouchy.

So, I don't wanna be that guy. You know that guy? The guy who nitpicks the smallest, most insignificant detail in a comic or movie scene, and completely misses the point of the whole thing? *sighs* Okay, I'm gonna be that guy. I was looking at Punchbot's arm, and it looked... odd to me. (Biomedical background) The bundles of red myomers seem to stop short of what looks like the joint to me. Also, myomers act like biological muscle fibers, essentially trading diameter for length. But Punchbot's arm is sheathed, apparently tightly, in metal. There'd be nowhere for the myomers to expand *into*. Okay, yeah. Sorry. ^_^;
