I actually am with the not having romantic feelings. To some degree I think exploring human/AI relations is fine without always having to bring up romanticism--there's so much more to explore. Her lack of self-consciousness and blushing when she thought of Bubbles saying she was beautiful really -doesn't- mean that she feels romantically toward her, either. Deep feelings, yes. Romantic? Not necessarily. And that's okay.

Eh, I wouldn’t jump to that conclusion yet. There’s been at least one hint that the feelings are mutual (namely when Faye dreamt about Bubbles saying she was beautiful, and she blushed), but Faye just doesn’t realize that yet.

Moreover, Bubs doesn't know what was discussed. All Faye said was "we were talkin' about it ...". Talking about AI sociology, relationships, do robots get lonely, does bubbles get lonely, "Hey, Bubbles looks lonely is she ok?", etc. There are plenty of related topics that could have allowed Faye to ask that question. Bubbles not jumping to conclusions is a good case of a character not "meta-gaming"
