Part of the reason I became a supporter was to help out despite not being able to view the site without blocking ads (the other part was there was a Patreon-exclusive comic at one point, and I don't want to miss those...)

The real pros know to make noises about how hard they're trying to make sure things stay affordable for the consumer, while shaking people down by gradually jacking up the cost covered by insurers (which gets passed on to the consumer and/or the government through the possibly-subsidized insurance premiums).
