A Solid "Chthuk"

Only a lil' early this time but I am HOME so regular early comics should be back to normal!!!

Fun fact, that's something Steve Jobs did at one point until his skin attained an orange-y hue.

Julienne Ignace

Foreshadowing!

Trigon Manthree

Whew.

Maurice Kessler

She just delivered the tea

Travis Young

It's not just big pharma; it's big lobbyists. Also, when did Hanners begin working at the repair shop?

Maurice Kessler

Honestly don't think I ever viewed the main site without some kind of blocker. The malvertising threat is just too big. I did disable ADP at one point for various webcomics but I still use NoScript for cross-site protection.

Gregory Norris

Are you my old editor? ;)

Before I discovered patreon I went to the Reddit subforum about QC - typical flaming trashcan over there. People didn't understand the comic but were arguing about it anyway; trolls were gallivanting around; Reddit in a nutshell. I only like Reddit for ghost stories tbh

Zing! Big Pharma is the worst pusherman

The tiny footnote text today made me sad :-(

Patrick Jackson

A lot of times I can't load the page or get redirected away if I visit QC without my adblocker in place. Part of the reason I became a supporter was to help out despite not being able to view the site without blocking ads (the other part was there was a Patreon-exclusive comic at one point, and I don't want to miss those...)

gatherer818

I'm glad you got back safely, Jeph. :)

I always hit the site as well just to get him some ad hits. I have all my webcomics whitelisted just for that reason.

Timothy Mann

That's for sure. Corpse Witch had a pretty lucrative operation that didn't attract a lot of unwanted police attention and she'd still be in business if it hadn't been for that meddling cyber god.

Brent Catherman

Shkreli's problem was he was too blatant about what he was doing. The real pros know to make noises about how hard they're trying to make sure things stay affordable for the consumer, while shaking people down by gradually jacking up the cost covered by insurers (which gets passed on to the consumer and/or the government through the possibly-subsidized insurance premiums).

Auros Harman

Hm. Robot pharmaceuticals...

Nobilis Reed (personal)

Cthuk... the sound of an Elder God taking a cthit.

Edward Clayton Andrews

I think it was the name of a bar in Swansea.

Chthuk sounds like the domain name for a British Cthulhu cult.

Firefly Jelly

I enjoy it here and in my inbox, since the qc-website is overburdened with Ads, redirecting me without consent.

Jan Gampe

OMG how could you spoil the comments like that. Ruined forever.

Mark Hechim

(and now I'll spoil the comments with "promse" instead of "promise" in the first panel ;)

Ian Cull

I appreciate you putting this up early, even if it's not the usual 24 hours. I really enjoy reading the strip here on Patreon, not just for the early access, but for the comments. The comments here seem to be a lot better than on the QC site.

Populuxe

The most profitable crimes aren't even illegal.

Peter Jensen

That's so true. Bank robbery is like trying to get healthy by sitting around just eating carrots and nothing but carrots all day.

Rob McBobson

Holy shit shots fired, Jeff one, big pharma zero.
