I like the distinction between a chassis model and the person inhabiting that model. Would someone chose a model with known quirks / flaws because the overall reputation matches some self-image? 'course that is assuming they have choices not limited by finances or bureaucratic availability.

The emphasis is on "done" therefore it could mean they have crimes in progress but those crimes are not actually complete at this time.
