I think Momo and May have bonded and May knows just how hard Marigold and Momo worked to get Momo her body. I also think May is projecting frustration over her own predicament to the most convenient vulnerable target -- Momo would NOT put up with that kind of outburst from May.

Winslow's 'privilege' comes from having a wealthy companion. He doesn't actually have any assets besides his body. How can he leverage that to reduce the inequity shown in this story? Why is it his responsibility rather than, say, Momo's? Interesting.

I'm really intrigued by this perspective. Winslow is dealing with a problem lots of people have, but he would have never conceived of situations like this. What's more, it's maybe more personal than how humans would experience this discomfort. The rift between him and May isn't just in material things like cars and clothes, it's completely intrinsic. What he is made of is the cause of the separation, so he can't conceive of removing it without unbecoming himself.
