2017-03-24 11:45:07 +0000 UTCEver since Brun's first appearance I *knew* there was someone like her in my past, but I couldn't quite dredge up the memory. It just clicked: A girlfriend from a decade ago. Very different body type (marathon runner lean), but the same in saying things simply (sometimes as non-sequiturs). Tolerant of silence, feeling no need to break it, and never finding it "awkward". Enthusiastic about very few things, but near-OCD attention when one is triggered. Appears non-emotional to many, but actually has very deep and strong feelings, and is merely subtle and non-demonstrative in her emotional expression. Doesn't find most jokes funny, but often laughs at the absurdities in daily life. A true and honest observer of the world around her, free of "rose-colored glasses". Yeah, I think I grok Brun. She's now my favorite QC character. (Sorry, Pintsize!)
