The thing is, no matter which "-ism" it is (racism, sexism, ageism, whatever), the "nice" folks always get victimized the most, generally because they complain the least and/or try to make the offender feel OK about it. The "nice" folks also tend to be the weakest (independent of massive pecs), and are one huge reason we need friends, supporters and activists willing to speak on their behalf. Go, Jim! Renee, chasing her own issues, failed to detect or prevent the issues she was creating for others. An odd thing to do, especially when she was testing Brun's hypothesis of her being attracted to Elliot! She's really a bit blind, a bit clueless, and a bit self-centered. But isn't that significantly different from the sensible, supportive and caring Renee we've come to know and adore? It MUST be love! Or at least heavy lust.

Yeah, sexual harassment does not specify the genders of the assailant or the victim. Renee is lucky that Elliot is kind-hearted, and that Jim is a good manager.

Damn, you know we haven't seen all that much of Jim lately which made me forget that he's actually a really good boss. He's able to be stern with his employees while also in a way being supportive, he didn't really yell at her or punish her at all besides making her go apologize, all he had to do to make sure something like that didn't happen again was to get her to realize that she made a mistake that could've had some serious consequences and get her to think about the mistake she made, those are some damn fine managerial skills at play right there, bravo Jim.

Whew. I was a bit creeped out by the previous strip; glad to see Jeph knows what he's doing :)
