I think Faye has a better read on Spookybot's motivations than Bubbles...

Thank you to the kind police officer, Faye

I imagine there is a fair bit of epilogue to come - Jeremy establishing control over the skatepark, Punchbot setting up the legal version of the fighting ring, and presumably the new roles of Faye and Bubbles...

Faye looks pretty static in that first frame, but I couldn't help imagining her doing a dorky swan-dance and burst out laughing

I think the main reason is that the Eldritch AI simply didn't have any reason n o t to help out. It takes pretty much zero energy (by the Eldrith AI's standards), It does some good in the world, and, well, it simply doesn't gain anything from leaving Bubbles alone to fend for herself.

May just tried to steal enough money to buy a fighter body....
Corpse Witch has systematically abusing and enslaving robots, to use them in a brutal cage match situation.

Sometimes Faye NEEDS somebody to keep her out of trouble, and in this case Bubbles has the advantage. If Faye tries her arm punch stunt she'll only hurt her hand. :)

Thank you, nice police officer.
Now, regarding Corpse Witch's fate, think back to when we first saw May. She was a hologram in a pair of glasses, which is how she was proving that she had reformed.
Imagine that happening to Corpse Witch sometime in the future. :)
(The first image of May is here...)

Steve eating cereal is the perfect interstitial. The cereal box can carry the title of each upcoming story arc.

Damn, I got beaten to a Steve & cereal comment.
All arcs must end with Steve, right? Or does Steve start every arc? Or is Steve the definition of "interstitial content"?

Wait... is it over? I don't want it to be over. This has been my favorite story arc in QC, and I'm not ready for it to end.
I'm sure whatever comes next will be great (Jeph proves that time and time again) but this arc set the bar pretty damn high. I mean, no pressure or anything, Jeph. ;)
