Here is an illustration from the most recent update, the v0.2 expansion on the warrior storyline; Sarah (and her soldiers) meeting Xan.
It's a good example of how differing storylines in the game will sometimes cross-over in similar moments, only to have those moments play out differently. Of course, whereas in the mage-narrative it is Sarah who confronts the soldiers in the palace, here it is Xan who confronts them.
It's also a great showcase for Xan's new design, which was one of the few designs that I felt was so poor in the initial release, he needed an overhaul given that he'll keep popping up across differing storylines.
The core of the illustration, and the scene, was to try and portray what it might be like for normal, ordinary soldiers to try and fight something like a mage. The soldiers grouped up on the corners of the design, all draw focus and attention to the central character of Xan. Mages in the world of TSSR are rare enough that they can't replace entire standing armies, and most people go their whole life rarely meeting any.
The fire, much like the design of Sarah's magic from the mage path, is a blue fire, something both immediately obvious as dangerous while also appearing somewhat magical.
All in all, one of the pieces that I think was qualitatively great, but also worked really well in conveying the story visually.
