Would you volunteer for her Next Magic trick? | Zatanna Zatara

TLDR: Zatanna has been one of the most requested IP characters, so I created this illustration with a bold, curvy style inspired by my most popular past works. It’s a playful SFW piece with a touch of humour. I’m also refining my workflow to balance detailed IP character art with my signature style and consistent output. A feedback form will be released soon to gather your thoughts on the new experimental approach.

🎩 I decided to drop this Zatanna illustration because she’s been one of the most consistently requested IP characters since I started this community. I gave her these exaggerated, curvy proportions since this particular style for IP characters has always been the most popular on my socials (think April O’Neil from TMNT).

🌶️ This spicy SFW piece also has a touch of comic relief in the second slide, which felt fun to do and gave me a chance to try something different creatively. As many of my long-time supporters already know, I’ve always wanted to focus more on detailed IP character art in the long run. But I’m still figuring out a workflow that merges my art style and edits, supports complex poses and detailed integrations, and allows me to maintain the level of quality I want in a consistent way. At the same time, I’m trying to reach a much wider subscriber base that can help sustain and justify the time and effort that go into creating such detailed IP artworks.

📝 I’ll be dropping a form soon (probably tomorrow) to gather your thoughts and insights on the recent experimental art style and more. I decided not to do it in the usual poll format since this topic feels too broad and layered for a simple vote. Plus, more people tend to take part in forms anyway, which helps too :)
