Aslan's DLC Route - CG Reveal + RELEASE DATE!

Hello everyone!

For July's update, we're going to be discussing another update for Aslan's Route DLC for "Love Spell: Written In The Stars" along with an updated release time frame for 2022!

Aslan Development Update

So, as we stated in a previous update, one of the reasons Aslan's DLC was primarily delayed from our original Q1-Q2 2022 date was because of problematic technicalities with the original engine in which Love Spell was built on. (You can read more about this in detail in our previous update for April 2022.)

Following up on that update, we've decided that our best option at hand is that we are going to be releasing Aslan's DLC most likely as his own "stand-alone" application/game. So, rather than a traditional DLC where players can just buy the downloadable content add-on and it's imported into their original game, Aslan's Route will just be purchasable as his own independent software/app. 

Due to the fact Love Spell was made in an older, different engine than Peachleaf Valley and all current projects (including Aslan's DLC) are being made in, we just think it's the best choice for this particular release.

For Peachleaf Valley and future DLCs, the situation will be different and the DLCs will follow that "traditional" workflow for downloadable game content. 

But porting Love Spell completely over into this new engine is a much bigger task than we had anticipated and we are also working full-time on Peachleaf Valley's development too. Therefore, we've decided this is the best alternative available to us! 

*Please note: The Love Spell game ports to MAC & Linux are going to be delayed as we port over the full original game into our new engine, but Aslan's Route itself will be playable for MAC & Linux systems. He's also an independent story that begins right at the end of the original game's prologue (which will also be included in his route as a refresher for new and old players alike.)

On that note, *drum roll* we estimate that Aslan's Route is going to launch this November 2022! We've yet to choose an exact date, but we're aiming hard for early November and we'll announce the exact release date as soon as we finalize it in the coming months.

We hope you guys are excited! Though full of unexpected twists and turns in his development cycle, we really do think Aslan's story boasts an incredibly fun and super immersive experience. We're really excited to share it with you all!
