It’s been such wild ride throughout this whole re-record process, the sentimentality, the principal of the whole situation and the end goal of owning her masters came A LOT quicker then I ever could have anticipated. I always imagined it would be a random day far, far into the future when I’d see a headline about her buying back her masters and think about how long it’s been since we started this journey. I don’t know if it’s divine intervention or some of that Tay voo-doo at work but truly this couldn’t have come at a better time, right before there was any decisions to be made about the fates of Reputation or Debut and it truly just goes to show that whatever is yours has been and will always be yours. Truly no matter how the situation worked out whether it was now or later the OG records would never be at peace until they were back home with Taylor (it was like a terrible imbalance in the universe). Additionally, I was for a short time mourning the fact that we’d never get to see a proper re-recording of Reputation however, after fully fathoming everything that we now know this truly is the best outcome for all intents and purposes. Taylor won’t have to painstakingly try to capture the same energy and emotion surrounding the original album and she can just let those original songs speak for themselves. It was always hard for me to picture what the new cover would look like for Rep and knowing it wasn’t even partially recorded makes so much sense because it was never meant to be!. I hope for the vault tracks she’s smiling in the photo or maybe it will be in color because in a way it’s all been purified/ cleansed?. Like all the negativity from that time is gone and in the past. Nonetheless so happy for our girl Taylor 🤍

2025-06-05 12:33:24 +0000 UTCThe thing is that debut has at least 200 Unreleased Songs because some of them she wrote at 12/13 until prior Fearless era. And some of them aren't that good enough to be released but it's cool that she owns that 'cause it's part of her journey as an writer. ☺️✨

They also showed the artist community they’re ready to treat artists fairly & got the endorsement of the biggest artist in the world, so I think they ended up breaking far more than even
