Body morphing
Added 2025-11-10 02:41:41 +0000 UTCI've previously talked about how the head morphing will work, letting you shape the head by grabbing areas and moving them around almost like clay. The goal is to allow the body to be shaped in a similar way, to make it thicker/thinner, more/less muscular, bigger wings, etc, to represent the full range of dragon bodies typically depicted. One challenge with this is that, as opposed to the head, these morphs need to be perfectly synchronized across all different combinations of affected dragon parts to prevent the model from breaking when it gets assembled, and new parts that are added later on need to be able to seamlessly integrate with the existing morphs. I came up with a pretty cool way to do it this week which will make creating new body morphs a breeze, so that's something that might be shown in the next sneak peek.

It would be possible actually, but it requires different animations so it wouldn't be worked on until the regular wings are done and ready to fly. It very well may be added later on though!

2025-11-17 00:20:08 +0000 UTCDo you think there'd be a possibility of adding multiple sets of wings? Think something like the Stormcutters or Singetails from How To Train Your Dragon. Or would that be too complicated/mess with physics too much?
