One year of progress
Added 2025-04-14 03:05:23 +0000 UTCIt has now been just a little over a year since I started working on Dragontwin. I posted the first videos on various social media platforms last week a year ago. I vividly remember showing them to my brother and his girlfriend over Easter when they were starting to gain traction. It feels a bit surreal to think that it was just a year ago, not knowing the journey that would follow.
This time I have another video to show. It gives a little backstory and presents what we have accomplished this year. I'll keep this post short and let the video speak for itself. I will also be uploading it on the social media accs so you can watch it there if you prefer. I hope you like it!

I will say, as much as i love the idea of creating your dream dragon with the exact build you want, imo, focusing more on the patterns and colors for right now would be easier. Plus we could playtest how the colors an patterns appear on the drake wayyy sooner then this since adding customization like this as to be a seamless as possible so their wont be any weird clipping. Im still supper hype tho since i have a dragon that im dying to make with this.

The view of flying up through the clouds and into the morning light/starry night sky is pure magic The sound design is spectacular, and the music fits so incredibly well. I've been flying for what feels like 10 min but it's been an hour at least lol I cannot stress how impressed I am. This is already well worth the money. Looking forward to whatever else you guys have in store!

I remember the first time I saw one of your videos, I didn't believe at all that it was going to be a video game. just a montage with Unity and when I saw that it could become a game... a playable game! I wanted to know more, I wanted to see the project with my own eyes! To test it with my own eyes. Because I've been looking for a dragon simulation for a long time. Something like Game of Thrones, something about riding with your dragon. SE that I couldn't really find elsewhere or that didn't satisfy me. For me, seeing your game is a reality that becomes real day after day. I knew at the time that I had to support this project. Even though I'm not super wealthy... I had to support at least this project. It's a dream that can come true and I thank you for giving your project a chance. For deciding to do something concrete with it. :) I basically speak French, if there are any misunderstandings in the text, I'm sorry, it's not intentional. ^^'

2025-04-14 21:45:16 +0000 UTCI have to admit, a year ago when i saw your first video I was worried that it was too good to be true and that this would be a pump and dump GoFundMe scam, but watching the development of this game progress as it has, seeing the team grow, and your clear and open communication about goals and setbacks instantly set aside my fears. Dev teams like you guys are what keep me playing games in the midst of all these awful AAA cash grabs, I can't wait to see where you guys are able to take this game!

My pc is not able to handle the graphics and I am not looking to upgrade, since the pc is still working fine and I am not one to discard something that is still working. So, I have this tiny hope it will eventually become available on console also.

Gustaf Siden, thank you for deciding to bring the greatest dragon game I think ever into the world! Aaaaand how dare you make me this viscerally excited for the full version knowing how much more time that'll be hehe I cannot express how excited I am to see what comes next from you and the phenomenal team!
