Update on progress towards first build

As discussed previously, the first playable build is planned to be made available for tier 3+ patrons before the end of the year, under the condition of non-disclosure. A little over a month ago I made a post about what was left to do until it is ready, where the main points were the new landscape system, UI and some flying improvements and fixes. The flying is pretty much ready now, UI will likely be ready in the coming two weeks or so, but the landscape system is still in development and not ready for testing. It's progressing steadily every week but it is uncertain how long it will take until it can be fully deployed, so in order to ensure the timeline is kept, I will most likely resort to another option that was mentioned in the previous post, which is to have a smaller playable area for the build (aiming for 32kmx32km (1024 sqkm), still huge in comparison to most games). This is much simpler because it can leverage the landscape system already built into the engine, instead of relying on the custom system that is being built to support the scale of Dragontwin.

Completely understand about the Nondisclosure. For those of us who do stream, will you give us an update when its safe to share pics/video's of the game?
