What I am doing. What am I doing?

Hey Patrons!

Here's an update on what I am doing!

A "too long didn't watch" version:

I'm making some new sketches on my YouTube channel Joel+ (they're also on TikTok) - https://www.youtube.com/@UCxzKCme4Hgq1IzH7NNXWssA

I'm deep into working on my next album! It's coming together and should be out by the end of March, alongside some music videos.

I am shooting a movie during The Oscars again this year! Expect to see that in March!

Otherwise! Things are unclear and that's okay!

Thanks so much for all the love and support. I wish you guys well!

Love, Joel Haver

If it's up to me, I think you can post whatever you like on your main channel without that meaning you commit to anything. If you feel like it, go ahead, post a short. Doesn't mean you have to continue posting them regularly again or that that's your thing now.

TLDR: 🤦im a spoiled jerk and just felt inspired enough in the 30sec i had to look at my phone to write that comment in reply to the tldr like a dingus. Sorry for that. After doing the right thing and actually watching I'd like to say my curiousity around your channel-bouncing is from my own similar concerns and overthinking. I think being/having any type of public persona is trying to put the warbly magic source of being an artist into boxes. Similar to the paradox of it beneficial for survival to segment and label the warbly magic of an otherwise continuous universe excepting the moments when it becomes harmful: assuming all red berries are healthy, all starbellies are lame, all shorts should have bad acting, all things and me are different. I think being an artist is just being an extra warbly mirror to the continuum and why anyone expects artists to be boxable is silly to me. Im probably making it more of an identity thing when its more of a "just make it easier for folks to find what they like" thing but worrying what people like is not something i think artists should worry about too much. That being said you clearly know how to make it a survivable business unlike I. But yeah its a bit odd seeing you fret about what boxes people want your stuff in and whether its worth their time and money to witness. You're such a fricken powerhouse man. Evidenced by the fact that in your "aimless" times you're running 3 channels, making an album and responding to dinguses on patreon. I couldn't be happier as a patron of yours even if you put out whatever the hell u want when you want. I think the most important thing as a public persona is to be the best, happiest you you can be. That way folks who might be kinda like you can take some hints and flow similarly. Last note is that my anxiety around self image and productivity have softened with age and focus on social bonds. You probably know the importance of the second one better than me with all the friends and pasta, but the age thing, its nice imo.

Any plans on doing commentary videos for the 11 movies without one, or is that unlikely/not a priority, given the viewership of the 1?

I literally explain that in this video!!!

Curious why you made a second channel for sketches and why you've started on the tiktok. Perhaps you've explained elsewhere and sorry if i missed it.
