If you haven't checked it out, it'll always be available for free on the channel.

Let me know if you enjoy these videos and would like to see more. Also, let me know any topics you would want to see covered in future rambles!

Thanks again, wish you the best.

I love freddy got fingered! seen it a few times. The depth of that movie is 100% gone over the heads of the masses. He was mocking the norms of society in a creative and funny way. Tom's parents also didn't approve of him so it's also a fictional auto biography in a way. One of my favourite little scenes is when he says "I'll keep my fingers crossed I hope I get a jobby" over and over to his brother https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFle0npi1Qc it was his way of showing through mockery and sarcasm that he had bigger dreams and aspirations than those around him and was able to find his own way to success, there even is a subtle character break when his brother leaves the room he stops mid-sentence, as if he was putting on a show. They even have a song called "I gotta be me" in the movie when he's working at the factory. It was much more than a prank. If you watch his old show you can really see how sarcastic and resentful he is to the standards people have. I don't think somebody who puts that much effort into making fun of societal norms does it just for fun, he is challenging them.

Man.. I'm a fresh patreon and I just discovered this rambling series. What a gold mine of ideas, recommendations and fresh perspectives on film. Binging it now and constantly taking notes, thanks a bunch for uploading this man! Truly inspiring for me as a want-to-be-filmmaker.

I also think Freddy Got Fingered is kind of great, especially through the lens you mention about being given a giant check to make something out of his own brand of nonsense. Part of me wonders if it works with more people now because memery and surreal nonsense is more common within Internet culture.
