So cool to hear what inspires you! You gave a really solid pitch for John Cassavetes and definitely sold me on watching his films. I really like Japanese cinema but haven't heard of Juzo Itami so I can't wait to check out his work as well. Also somehow it's not a surprise you enjoy Nathan Fielder lol, I can see it in your performances. I just joined so I'm having a lot of fun watching through your rambles. Many criticize it without ever playing it, I thought the story was actually excellent, very personal, and a unique experience. I'll be watching your rambles and everything, just joined the Patreon and I was curious, what do you think of the film-like story telling in video games? UPDATE: I just read your very next ramble lol ;)
