In 2019, when I first released my movie Island, a filmmaker named Dan Lotz watched it and reached out to me to tell me he loved it. Since then we've become close friends.
Island inspired Dan to make his own improvised feature film. He spent last summer filming the movie Chlorine and this past week he released it on his channel!
Chlorine got shared by a big YouTuber and wound up garnering 18k views and his channel grew immensely. As a thank you, Dan reached out to me for a video interview about Island.
He released an edited short version of the interview on his channel, but also compiled the full thing for me to share with you guys! Give it a listen if you want some insight into the creation of Island, my philosophies on filmmaking and plenty of rants about the state of the industry.
