State of the Game

Happy new year, all you lovely people!

Today was a very busy day for us. GameJolt, one of our largest points of distribution for Harem Collector's public releases, decided all at once to axe every adult game on their platform. This is a serious blow to the adult games industry as a whole, and the focus of the team's discussion today was how to recover.

The team here at BKG has committed to getting Harem Collector up on Steam by the beginning of spring this year, and to that end we're going to try and make sure the game is in the best state possible by that time.

Now, we've been working on this for awhile, and I'm sure some of you may be thinking, 'we've heard this all before, last year.' However, there are a few things different this time around. For one, lead developer NoMoshing has acquired proper mental healthcare. For another, we're breaking out the war chest, and we're going to be putting a considerable amount of gas into asset development this. Not only are we committing to working hard on development, but we're also putting our money where our mouth is, so to speak.

Except lots of exciting new developments in the weeks to come, and let's make this year the best yet for all of us!
