Critical Information Regarding Next Week's Release
Added 2020-11-17 01:52:39 +0000 UTCSome of you already know this, because I posted about it on Patreon a few days ago, but here is the official announcement for everyone.
Nekochan's mother is entering end-of-life care tomorrow. Doctors predict she has a week left to live, and afterwards the business of making funeral arrangements and settling her affairs will need to occur.
I am hereby announcing that I am taking a two week break from game development to help my wife and her family through this difficult time.
Work on the game will continue in the capable hands of the rest of our staff- Conash, Kumiho, Hilent and Clara. For this reason, the Patreon campaign will not be placed on hiatus- as it stands my own salary is a minority of our budget allocation anyway, and I feel this is the best course of action for development on the game as a whole. However, as I do not see how there can be a release this month with the state that the game is currently in, there will not be an update this month. When I return from leave, I will reassess our schedule and update everyone accordingly.
I will be taking the time to update the Patreon with new art assets, as well as addressing the problems with the Megafan tier, but these things will not be my priority for the next little while.
Thank very much for your support and patience in this difficult time. The Harem Collector fan community has always been incredible and I am constantly astounded by all of your understanding, empathy and maturity. I look forward to delivering the ARCANE update before the end of the year.

I'm sorry to hear about Nekochan's loss. been a hard year for everyone who has lost a loved one this year. take all the time you need, I'm certain everyone who supports BKG is understanding of your situation. I hope that you give your selves the needed time to grieve as it can't be easy on either of you. I wish you all the best.

2020-11-19 06:14:07 +0000 UTCDefinitely take all the time you need not only for your wife and family but to manage yourself as well and do not feel rushed to hurry back here by any means. I, along with I'm sure many of the others here, would rather you see take care of yourself and your life and come back to us whenever you feel ready to.
