It's a matter of change in age I guess. I would have pegged her anywhere from 19-21 based on what I remember of her personality (admittedly it's been over a year since I've actually played this so my memories could be off too) so that's 20-25% older than I thought. The same difference on say a 36 year old instead wouldn't seem so outrageous to me.
