Also Gus spotted! I am more than happy to be a Patron for exclusive Gus

So super interesting video and I thought I would take a chance to dump my own thoughts about your AI Build bit as someone with experience in some of the things (aka Fluoxetine). First off, in the most pedantic way that was the most interesting pronunciation of Fluoxetine I’ve ever heard (I pronounce it floo-ok-suh-teen but maybe that’s a UK thing!). Also Fluoxetine is very hard to overdose on fatally but it is possible to overdose non-fatally (though it has to be at a high level) and the symptoms of an overdose do match what Nicholas goes through (feeling sleepy, agitated, vomiting, difficulty breathing, seizures). You mention in your second theory that it could be methylphenidate as it would explain why Nicholas has been prescribed it as a young age, fluoxetine can also be prescribed at a young age, it’s the only (I believe) SSRI that can be prescribed for anyone under 18 and especially for those between 10 and 12 (the side effects can be a bit rough at that age). Also I have no idea if this is a difference between UK and US drugs but I wonder if the actual colour of the pill capsule matters, Fluoxetine can be green and white but I’ve seen all sorts of colouring on the capsules which could be a brand thing. I really like your 3 theories and your deeper look into some of the more interpretive and I want to try giving a different interpretation of some of the pill elements regarding your tormented artist implication. As you already said about putting “trauma into your art”, there’s a trope in media that it is only through suffering that good work is created and even that antidepressants are bad because they stifle creativity (cough Bandersnatch cough) and AI Build has Mr Eye representing that side, telling him to stay away from pills and I remember there’s a mention that Nicholas’ creativity and work is tied to his suffering. I really liked the fact that when Nicholas goes through the pill bottle the resulting other side is brighter, that it's working, even if the trauma doesn’t just go away (the skull) and there are side effects, it's still better than before. AI Builds is a really interesting piece of media and I could go on for hours but I will leave it there. Once again, the video was really good and fair play to the ghost writer! (Also if we talk about what is art and what is the meaning of art then I would like to submit that my various academic dissertations are more “art” than some of my more traditional cross stitch pieces).

I really appreciate the ending portions of the video. I loved your discussion about art and originality in art and I loved the interviews a lot. You all are so inspiring and I'm definitely going to be taking their advice when creating my art. I think for awhile I lost sight of why I loved making art so much and this helped me realized it was because I wasn't making it for myself I was making it to get a grade. Going to start working on my own projects and hopefully I can enjoy the process again :)
