Within Fenrir’s Private Viewing Area
“The more I watch, the more interested I am,” Eris says with a bright smile as she watches the screen floating at the center of the private viewing area Fenrir made to watch the Beta Administrator Dungeon. Specifically now that the previous viewing room the Progenitors were using no longer exists.
The Progenitor of Chaos sees Fenrir sending her a look in the corner of her eyes, but she doesn’t care. She knows very well that she generally doesn’t grow attached to any one thing. It’s simply her nature.
Eris is known to fixate on something for a very brief period of time before quickly moving onto the next subject. All because of her chaotic tastes and personality.
But this is the longest she’s found one thing, much less one person, interesting.
And since she knows herself better than anyone else, she knows she won’t just lose interest.
Not this time.
Wolf is too interesting for her to lose interest. Interesting enough to completely disregard her previous neutrality policies to throw her entire lot in with Fenrir.
“I’ve heard you sent protectors for Wolf’s family?” Fenrir asks, still sounding suspicious of Eris’ actions. “Why? Your fixations don’t usually last this long.”
Eris just chuckles with a smile and says, “Because I want to.”
Her words don’t reassure Fenrir at all. But she doesn’t really care about the stubborn wolf.
She and Fenrir have never seen eye to eye.
Fenrir is too stubborn and set in his ways, while Eris does whatever she feels like when she feels like it.
They are a terrible match, and Eris personally doesn’t care much for Fenrir. But Wolf is interesting enough for her to deal with Fenrir.
The other Progenitors in the room – each of whom are allies of Wolf – quietly watch on as the two clash. All without saying a word.
Eris doesn’t care about them either. Right now her priorities are twofold.
Her first priority is Wolf and his family. Protecting them from Grim.
And her second priority is dealing with the influx of chaos energy flooding the multiverse thanks to Grim and Titania’s war.
Because there is a lot of chaos energy flooding the universe from a war as enormous as the one between the Progenitors of Void and Radiance. And while it is very beneficial in empowering Eris, it is a large hassle to deal with.
There’s a reason Eris is one of the most powerful Progenitors in the multiverse, and it’s not because of her incredible personality. Putting her nearly on par with Fenrir in terms of strength.
Chaos is one of the most plentiful energies in existence. No matter what happens, chaos energy is almost always being created by anything.
And the more chaos that occurs in the universe, the more chaos energy is generated.
So wars, especially those between Progenitors, generate an immense amount of chaos energy thanks to the chaos they spread.
All Progenitors are naturally empowered by the amount of their element that exists in the multiverse. Making the most powerful Progenitors the ones with the most elemental energy.
And some energies are easier to produce than others.
Like how ice energy forms from the cold, and how fire energy is formed by the heat.
One of the main things Eris has been researching over the past year is how lunar ice is formed. Since it’s formed differently from how ice energy is formed.
And while she hasn’t found every method to form it, she has found one method in which it’s formed.
Lunar ice energy forms simply through the presence of lunar winter beasts. So the more creatures are turned into lunar winter beasts, the more powerful Wolf will become. Simply through the creation of lunar ice energy flooding the universe.
Thanks to that, Eris has taken a few precautions to make Wolf stronger.
Such as smuggling lunar winter beasts out of Grim’s universe and into other universes. All to spread the virus further and further.
Creating more lunar ice energy in the process.
And so far she’s managed to do it without anyone realizing. Both Wolf and the other Progenitors.
Eventually she won’t be able to do it so discreetly anymore though. Which leads to her needing to do more research on lunar ice.
Because there has to be a way for the element to form that isn’t related to lunar winter beasts.
Eris smiles at the thought of making Wolf stronger before returning her focus to the livestream, where Wolf himself is struggling to find an exit.
This is the most fun I’ve had in millennia.
