Aqua

Not long after I begin my search for the Bloodliner and stronger monsters, I find a nice little dungeon down deep in the water. So I halt my search and enter the dungeon.

The dungeon itself is nowhere near as difficult as the Special Dungeon was, but it still isn’t a walk in the park either. Especially because it’s meant for higher leveled users than me.

As for its form? The dungeon has the form of a large high tech underwater base. Kind of like what I’d see in a movie.

Albeit flooded with water.

And the monsters look like some sort of aquatic chimeras. Probably experiments or something made in the lab down here.

I’m currently level three hundred and four. Meanwhile this dungeon’s average monster level for the weaker monsters is level three hundred and thirty. And the strongest monsters in this dungeon are level four hundred and above.

Of course, while this place will give me a lot of levels, the main reason why I decided to enter a dungeon like this is the REGEN stat points. Which I quickly begin to harvest like crops on a field soon after entering the place.

I can’t help but grin as I summon dozens upon dozens of abyssal servants that I use to slaughter the monsters here along with my own skills.

Getting a REGEN stat point for every single monster killed.

I’m also getting levels from them, but not quite too fast. And even with the levels, the monsters still have a large enough lead that I’m still getting REGEN stat points from them at least a few hours into my hunt.

As for any danger from the higher level monsters?

They’ve hit me plenty of times, but they don’t really do much to me. Despite being higher level than me.

Both because of my traits making my defenses stronger and because of my REGEN stat just regenerating the bits of damage they actually manage to do.

And last but not least, because I keep healing thanks to having my abyssal servants bring them to the brink of death before finishing them off with Devourer of the Abyss.

Thanks to all of that, the monsters aren’t really getting anywhere when it comes to attacking me. Letting me steamroll through all of them deeper and deeper into the dungeon.

On top of that, these monsters are netting me quite the number of high level abyssal servant blueprints.

I can’t help it as my smile grows wider and wider from the slaughter with every message from the System.

The pattern just repeats itself over and over again with those same messages.

A flood of REGEN stat increasing messages, followed by a single level-up message, followed by more REGEN stat increasing messages.

A seemingly endless cycle.

One that’s only halted a little bit by me catching up with the monsters in level and having to proceed to the next area of the dungeon to face higher level monsters that can once again give me REGEN stat points.

The bright side about that is that it takes more time to level up and pass the monsters in level the closer I get to that point. Since the monsters aren’t as much higher level than me by then.

As for mana cost? I occasionally take a break mid-slaughter to recover my mana. Mostly consisting of me just going to do jobs or to sleep.

I don’t really need much sleep anymore, but it still helps.

And since this place is in the form of a lab, one with sealable doors, it’s not hard to find a place to stay while projecting outside of Oceana.

A few days pass before I finally find the end of the rather long dungeon. Along with its boss, which is in the form of a mass of tentacles and mouths at level four hundred and thirty.

But by now I’ve already leveled up to level three hundred and fifty-eight. And with all of my REGEN stat points, along with my skills and abyssal servants, I shouldn’t have too much trouble taking the boss on.

Still. It is best to be as prepared as possible.

I don’t know what might happen fighting it.

The thing is a boss after all. And bosses aren’t meant to be easy to take on.

That said…

I glance at my status.

[END STATUS]

Not half bad.

I can’t help but smile as I look at my status while heading towards a safe area to rest in.

Although, when I think about it, my stats are quite a bit higher than most people at the same level as me would have.

Physique of the Abyssal Kraken increases my strength by a factor of one point five times while underwater, World First Ranker and Galaxy First Ranker are increasing the free points I get every level by one, Mana Metabolism lets me increase my mana stat albeit barely by any amount, and Abyssal Mana increases my mana stat by ten times its previous value.

So I’m a lot stronger – especially in mana and physical strength – than anyone else at the same level as me.

Although the latter is dependent on being submerged in water.

Then I also have my abyssal servants that are fueled by said massive mana supply.

At this point I can probably fight and kill something at least a hundred and fifty levels above me.

Another Bloodliner is a different matter though. Since they should also have Bloodline traits and skills that would bridge the gap between us.

Especially another aquatic Bloodliner.

The only thing that makes me not as wary about facing this other Bloodliner on Oceana in a direct confrontation is the fact that they seem to be steal focused. So they’ll be weaker physically.

That makes for one other issue though.

They will likely try to assassinate me at some point. And that could be a problem.

I doubt they know about my unique constitution though, so I’ll probably be fine.

I’m hard to kill after all.

they seem to be steal focused. // do you mean "stealth"? if not then what do you mean by "steal"?
