This feels like you hit your sibling and then its held over you for years after apologizing and trying to change (though admittedly what he did was WAY ) worse he was has and still is extremely remorseful and is still accepting the burnt bridge of a friendship

But still, I look at Lucy and I only see half a victim, the other half is a bipolar bully who has been pretty shitty to people in general. Ultimately this feels a little Scott Pilgrim-ish with Mike being the obviously-crappy focal point.

To live in a house with an actual bed and get three meals a day, where he doesn't have to steal. A lot of that hinges on Lucy's mental well-being. He's only being allowed to stay currently because he's being seen as a god-send to Lucy. Mike doing the whole "break up with Sandy and now I'm gonna rebound on you Lucy" really has caused her to plummet as of late and he's over it.

He's not chiming in with a stupid remark like he usually does, it's unusual to see him actually taking something serious for a change. His face, or moreso his eyes, being deliberately omitted in this page as well as the previous one (which going by pattern recognition means that the character is deep in thought) makes me think he has his own nuanced thoughts on the matter and I'm really interested to hear from his perspective.
