2023-01-13 20:37:57 +0000 UTCIMO, that was answered during Golden Hour and Ice Block. It was David at his most serious telling Paulo he loves him. David is lighthearted and not jealous, as far as we know, so I think he just feels happy when Paulo's happy.

2023-01-13 18:15:41 +0000 UTCSmall detail but I find it sweet that Paulo was against the idea of spying on Mike and James and ruining their hypothetical date. If this was volume 1-4 (and maybe 5) Paulo, he would be jumping at the chance to embarrass Mike during such a special occasion. Again it's very trivial but I see this as another reminder that Paulo HAS matured significantly over the duration of the comic.
