The reason the kids dealt with the 4 Horsemen so easily was because Adam used his powers to help them defeat them, each used their love of something good amplified by Adam to overcome the destructive powers of something evil.

2023-06-05 22:06:17 +0000 UTCThe show is as great as the book. It's the best novel adaptation on TV I ever watched. Why? Because Neil Gaiman who was the co-writer of the book also wrote the tv show. Now the co-author of the novel (Terry Pratchett) is dead and that is one of the reason his friend Neil made the show in the first place. This is why i was so surprised when they announced Good Omens 2. There is only one book. But i guess Gaiman know where to go with his story.

2023-06-05 00:18:55 +0000 UTCI'm still not sure which small bit of the show I have seen before why I didn't watch the rest of it when it was on BBC. But I'm very glad you chose this to react to as it made me stop putting it off and buy a second hand DVD. I do agree with you and Krispy Krushums about the easily defeated horsemen but I guess that's a very small detail in such a thoroughly enjoyable story. I have always loved the song that was played at the end and here it was the perfect choice and the perfect bit of humour to end on. Not only was a nightingale really singing in Berkely Square but there really were angels dining at the Ritz. Well, one angel and one demon.

2023-06-04 19:45:36 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you enjoyed the first series! Sad that its over though. Like you, I also found the 4 Horsemen's deaths to be a bit unsatisfying. I know its supposed to show how powerful Adam is in comparison but I would've liked a little more. I absolutely love Crowley and Aziraphales relationship, they are so funny together and you can really tell that they care immensely for each other. I could literally just watch those 2 characters in a show together. Super excited for Series 2 and your reactions to it! Thank you for working so hard to keep these, along with your Doctor Who reactions out so consistently. We all appreciate all the work that you do! :)
