Haha yes that wall, was really mean :D :D It had Nicole scribbled all over it :D Yes I remember the Alias John Smith, and from this point on I guess I´ll always remember Matt when the name will drop in the show again :) I like the scene, too in which the doctors finish each others and also Amys sentence :) I enjoyed watching Matt Smith acting in a different way, but then again not so different at all. I can´t really describe it, but I was super intrigued by it :) Yeah, I guess the name change would really work well :) I wonder what was the reason why they decided to do it the other way around.

In fact the only thing that did it was dipping in to reaction channels to see how they reacted to the "we swapped shoes" scene and of course the ending. I have a similar, albeit slighter, issue with Series 2's Cybermen story: the initial "The" is on the wrong episode title!

The scene with the wall of eyes was clearly designed just for you. And we have a big shock at the end! As you remember, the Doctor has used "John Smith" lots of times before - "Human Nature" is the one that immediately springs to mind - and it always brings a smile to long-term viewers of the show when he uses that alias. Also, in terms of Who references, when the Ganger Doctor is having stability problems at the start of the episode he shouts a number of things that Classic Who viewers will recognise. I love the scene where the two Doctors finish each other's sentences. Great pickup to recall Rose's reaction to her two Doctors. As you can probably imagine this isn't even the second time in the entire history of the show that we have had a story with a duplicate of the Doctor (it's the type of show that can do that sort of thing - and I bet the actors like performing them too). It's always really interesting to see how the companions react to it - Is the copy a bad character?, Will the copy betray the companion? BTW I feel the names of these two episodes "The Rebel Flesh" and "The Almost People" would almost work better if they were switched. Does anyone else think that? Thanks, again.

2023-04-01 22:49:36 +0000 UTCI do agree, with you about the sacrifice of the "flesh doctor". Haha the mad doctor :D That´s funny :D The ending was a shock for me, too. The moment the doctor asked Rory to move away from Amy, I knew something bad is about to happen. This next episode will be something, I can already tell. I´m thinking about that ending every single day, and have already one thousand possible solutions haha :D

2023-04-01 19:00:37 +0000 UTCI do think that the "flesh Doctor's" sacrifice was sad (and kind of noble) but I don't remember being as distressed by it as you were. I suppose you are right and this is because most of us (including me) had already clicked with this Doctor so it wasn't such a shock to contemplate his end and realise how sad it will be. Incidentally. I always put subtitles on for videos when they are available. Even if the language is English and I can understand the speaker perfectly well. But the subtitles keep saying "the mad Doctor" instead of the Matt Doctor and I can't stop thinking of him that way now. That's not a criticism by the way. It would probably do the same for most speakers and I am rather pleased to have a nickname for him. The ending was an incredible shock when I first watched it. I just kept going over in my mind about when the body swap happened. Poor Amy and poor Rory too.
